PCT Filing Requirements

  1. A Power of Attorney executed in the name of the applicant duly notarized and legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate (within 60 days) (to be used for all subsequent filings for the company).

  2. Patent Form 4 (Assignment document) signed by both inventors & applicant and duly notarized and legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate (within 60 days).

  3. Certificate of incorporation or extract from the commercial register legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate.

  4. Specifications and drawings of the invention together with the Arabic translation (Arabic translation can be filed within 60 days)

  5. Certified copy of the priority documents with Arabic translation thereof.

Information

  • Priority: The time limit for the PCT national phase entry is 30 months from the earliest date of priority for national phases.

  • Examination: The Request for examination must be submitted at filing.

  • Annuities: Annuities fees must be paid every year calculated from the international filing date for PCT application
